Talent Acquisition Consultant at Accident Compensation Corporation, Wellington - Wairarapa
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
ACC's vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury. Join us - an organisation that grew out of bold thinking and has an enduring commitment to care for others at work, home and play.
Our Talent Acquisition team is growing and we are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to join us to support the permanent and contract recruitment requirements across ACC's corporate functions.
What's in it for me?
You will be arriving at a busy and exciting time! You will be joining a friendly, high energy team in a highly supportive environment where you will be supported in developing new skills and expertise. We have ambitious plans around our commitments to our diversity and inclusivity aspirations, a new recruitment system coming mid next year, and a team committed to working together to achieve big things. Importantly, you will play a meaningful role in the recruitment of the future talent of ACC so that we can continue to improve the lives of New Zealanders every day.
What can I expect?
Partnering with our business leaders, your new role will see you design and implement targeted sourcing strategies to attract future talent to ACC across busy and often skill short portfolios. Flexing your recruitment expertise, you will be comfortable sourcing and engaging passive talent, leveraging multiple sourcing channels, prioritising a great candidate experience and providing robust recruitment advice to our leaders; supporting them with market insights, candidate evaluation and selection decisions.
As part of our busy and highly committed team, you will thrive in a fast-paced role full of variety where you are encouraged to use your initiative, improve processes and provide outstanding support throughout the full recruitment lifecycle to our leaders and our candidates.
What would I need to be successful in this role?
- Previous end to end recruitment experience supporting a diverse range of specialist and hard to fill roles
- Experience proactively sourcing candidates within a fast-paced environment using multiple sourcing channels (not just traditional job boards)
- A strong commitment to the promotion of diversity and inclusion in your recruitment practices
- The ability to coach and support business leaders to hire with confidence at pace
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- A great attitude and a curious, customer centric mindset
Working at ACC
We know that a diverse and inclusive team helps us meet the needs of our customers, and we welcome candidates from every ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, age, and those with a disability or who have additional mental health needs. It is important to us that people are free to be themselves at work.
Here are some ways we encourage that:
- Employee networks to support our colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- The option to explore flexible working that suits your needs and ours
- Development opportunities in te reo Māori me ngā tikanga
Applications will only be accepted when formally submitted through our ACC career website. If you have any questions about the role, please email Denise.Peter@acc.co.nz.
The team and I are looking forward to working with you!
