Youth Worker: Youth Development

Waikato

Permanent Full Time

Salary Range Band D $51,449 - $69,605

We are seeking an experienced Child Case Manager to work within our Youth development team. You will complete comprehensive assessments, develop and implement plans to address offending, behaviour issues and wider environmental factors that affect the child or young person.


You will be expected to undertake regular plan reviews. Documenting work, contacts and progress accurately and work closely with family, internal and external partners to ensure sustainable outcomes that reduce the incidents of Youth victimisation and offending.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • We are looking for a person who can demonstrate strong communication skills and an ability to work with children and young persons to meet desired outcomes.

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must hold a full NZ drivers Licence.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and hold an appropriate security clearance.
  • Must have completed a Bachelor of Social Work.
  • Registration or willingness to gain registration with the Social Work Registration Board.
  • Preference will be given to applicants that can demonstrate effective outcomes working with children and youth.
