The award-winning police team who brought you the Running Man Challenge and cute police puppies are looking for a social media and marketing advisor.


This is a hands on role that supports NZ Police's day-to-day social media and marketing functions. Working under the guidance of the Senior Social Media Advisor, this role will support NZ Police's online activities in order to strengthen the public's trust and confidence in Police and help to keep our communities safe. You'll also support Police's marketing programme, including our high profile recruitment advertising.

This role reports to the Marketing Communications Manager.


Duties include:

Assisting in the development of highly engaging social media content

Assisting with NZ Police's marketing and advertising campaigns

Page monitoring and reporting


Skills and experience required:

A knowledge of basic marketing principles

Relevant marketing or communications qualification

Knowledge and experience of social media management; an understanding of social platforms and monitoring tools.

Graphic design and content production skills preferred
