Opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Scientist with Biochemistry and/or Haematology experience to join our night shift team on a part time basis.

Biochemistry/Haematologyat Canterbury Health Laboratories provide essential 24 hour service to not only the hospital but the wider community. We're looking for a Registered Medical Laboratory Scientist to join us with this permanent part time position of 16 hours per week covering two night shifts, which is an integral part of the CHL's functionality.

Because these are night shifts, the requirement will be to work on your own therefore you must have the self-motivation and discipline to work independently and a demonstrated ability to work to a high standard unsupervised.

The wider team is a small close knit group that enjoys a fast paced and varied work place. You'll bring experience in biochemistry/haematologyprocedures and be able to prioritise and multitask as the situation demands. As a member of the CHL team it is important that you have great communication skills, both written and oral.

The hours for this role are:

  • Nightshifts 8hrs (Biochemistry/Haematology) - every Sunday and Monday 00:00 to 08:00hrs
