About the role

Canterbury Health Laboratories (CHL) has a vacancy for a motivated, registered Medical Laboratory Scientist for a new position within the Protein laboratory. This is a full-time, permanent position for 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday) but may include work outside normal hours).

The successful applicant will have a background in biochemistry and ideally technical experience and knowledge of protein chemistry. Registration (or eligible for registration) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the New Zealand Medical Sciences Council is essential. You will be a highly motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team as well as independently. In addition, you will possess effective time management and communication skills.
