About the role

At Christchurch Hospital we're looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our inpatient team, as part of the Musculoskeletal Cluster, on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hrs per week).

In this role you will help lead the inpatient physiotherapy service delivery across Orthopaedics, Burns and Plastics and ENT. You will work alongside other rotational and non-rotational staff, as well as supervising final year physiotherapy students. Your day to day clinical area will require you to work closely alongside the medical and nursing teams to support service delivery across the Emergency Department, Orthopaedic, Burns and Plastics and Ear Nose Throat services, as demand requires.

Skills and experience

Working within a multidisciplinary team and interacting with a wide range of people from varying backgrounds, you will have the opportunity to put to use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be actively involved in the education and training for our staff and students and will need to be enthusiastic and confident in sharing your knowledge across your discipline.

Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board and an Annual Practicing Certificate is essential and preferably you'll have demonstrated specialty area experience and professional development.
