About the role

The Community Stroke Rehabilitation Service is a specialised service focusing on the rehabilitation needs of adults (aged 16 and over) who have had a stroke. Rehabilitation is community based and is delivered within an inter-disciplinary approach. We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist with stroke rehabilitation expertise to join our team. You will work in an inter-disciplinary team to provide assessment and facilitate treatment and rehabilitation of people affected by strokes.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position covering a parental leave commencing August 2018. We are open to negotiating part time hours for the right candidate.

Skills and experience

In this patient centred role you will require excellent communication skills. An ability to build rapport with patients and their families is vital. You will need to be well organised. As this is a community outreach role you will need a clean driver's licence and enjoy working with patients in their homes and community.
