  • Located at Ashburton Hospital
  • 0.4 wound care and 0.2 FTE stoma
  • Permanent role

The Role: Where you fit in

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist you will work across the organisation within a clinical specialty acting in the roles of practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent and care coordinator/case manager in the pursuit of clinical excellence and improved health outcomes.

  • Work alongside and very closely with District nursing team
  • Provide complex wound care to patients referred from GP's, Specialty areas and consultants e.g plastics, vascular
  • Provide education and support both pre surgery and post-surgery to stoma patients
  • Networking with colleague across DHB
  • 0.4 wound care and 0.2 FTE stoma
