Victoria University of Wellington is looking for a senior Digital Content Specialist to join its Digital Engagement team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented professional to place the University at the forefront of best practice in the sector. You will be an expert in content best practice, adept at overseeing multiple requests, be calm under pressure and have exceptional relationship management skills.

This role will see you working across the University to provide professional advice and leadership. You will lead the development of our channels information architecture, content strategies and user research to ensure we are continuously improving and meeting the needs of our audiences.

You will oversee a team of three Content Advisers who are responsible for producing content for the core channels and providing advice, support and training to the University's 200+ web editors. Your Content team works alongside our design and development team to produce integrated solutions designed to meet the University's strategic objectives. The work will cover a wide range of initiatives including recruitment, research, student experience, stakeholder engagement and staff information.

This role is part of the University's wider Communications, Marketing and Engagement group. The group leads the University's internal and external marketing, communications, websites, alumni relations, publishing and events initiatives.
