Executive Co-ordinator

The Office of the Auditor-General | Te Mana Arotake(the Office) is focused on significantly enhancing its influence and impact on the public sector to deliver better results for Aotearoa New Zealand. The Office is dedicated to making a difference to the lives of New Zealanders. Over the next few years, we're expecting to deliver more outputs, and we want our work to have greater impact in the future.

We're growing our proactive, professional, and effective support function and looking for competent Executive Co-ordinators to assist our senior leaders in the Audit Quality and Corporate Services teams.

The Executive Co-ordinators will deliver timely and highly professional administration and secretarial support to their Assistant Auditor-General and team. To facilitate the smooth running of the team, you will be responsible for accurate and proactive diary management, co-ordinating and supporting governance and working groups, monitoring workflows, and tracking the delivery of key programmes.

To be successful in the role, you should have:

  • extensive experience providing high-level secretarial and administrative support for people in managerial positions;
  • advance desktop skills, including the Microsoft Office suite;
  • experience working in an environment that requires a high level of discretion, sensitivity, and interpersonal interaction; and
  • effective oral and written communication skills.

It is preferable that you're able to gain and maintain a Confidential national security clearance.
