Organisational Development Advisor & Learning & Development Advisor

 

We are seeking 1 x Organisational Development Advisor and 1 x Learning and Development Advisor to join our People and Leadership team. Both positions are permanent, full time based in Wellington.

 

 

 

About the team:

The People and Leadership team's role is to deliver on our people strategy by providing targeted advice, support and guidance to senior managers on people-related issues and deliver an exceptional employee experience.

About the roles:

These roles will see you working from your area of professional expertise on a variety of initiatives which contribute to building our organisational capability and culture.  Some projects will be primarily organisational development, some primarily learning & development, but many combine a mix of both.

 

You'll work alongside Senior Advisors and other colleagues to design and deliver initiatives that help build organisation-wide capability for today and tomorrow to help us deliver on the Oranga Tamariki way.  The team works on wide range of initiatives including core and common capability development to support new ways of working; leadership development; team building; talent management; engagement; people policies and guidance;  organisation culture; rewards & recognition, and diversity & inclusion. This role will see you working with a wide-range of stakeholders to build capability and drive change.

 

Skills and experience:

OD Advisor: You'll have proven experience working on organisational development initiatives from opportunity/problem definition through design, development, implementation and evaluation of solutions.  You will have experience facilitating structured workshops and an interest in continuing your development in this area.  You'll have an excellent understanding of how to build capability across and organisation and be experienced in a range of OD approaches, processes and products.   

 

L&D Advisor: You'll have experience in all aspects of adult learning design and delivery, from needs assessment to designing, developing and implementing multi-modal learning and development offerings.  A strong understanding of and experience in L&D principles and models will underpin your work.  You'll have sound experience designing e-learn solutions and an interest in developing these skills further. Some experience in facilitation as well as training is desirable.   

 

Both roles:

You'll be adept at managing multiple and prioritising demands of a diverse range of stakeholders and have the ability to build excellent relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Along with proven ability to deliver quality advice and guidance to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, a strong user-centred approach to everything we do is essential in our team.
