Victoria University of Wellington has an opportunity for motivated and experienced front end web developers looking for their next challenge.

We are looking for an experienced front end CMS developer who will naturally develop solutions that support our mobile-first, responsive development approach. You should be proficient with HTML, Javascript and CSS and familiar with APIs and the rest of the modern web development tool chain. Some design skills would be advantageous. Experience with a large scale CMS such as Squiz Matrix would be great.

Above all, you will be a self-starter who works well under pressure and is keen to make a difference and contribute to our successes.

This role is within the University's Digital Engagement team which is part of the wider Communications, Marketing and Engagement group. Our group leads the University's internal and external marketing, communications, websites, alumni relations, publishing and events initiatives. The group communicates with more than 2,000 staff, 22,000 students, more than 110,000 alumni and a diverse range of external stakeholders.
