What you'll be doing - Te whakamahere
Working as part of a team of seven amazing Communication Specialists, our Communications team has an opportunity available for someone who would love to dig deep into the work of NZTE to help spread the word about the great work we do.
As a Communications Specialist, you'll be responsible for writing communication content across both internal and external mediums including writing stories about our great people and NZTE, writing newsworthy articles, columns and other editorial content and editing short videos to be shared via multiple social media outlets. You'll also be responsible for coaching our people on the best ways to get their message across.
What you'll need to be successful - Ō Pūkenga
A background in communications, with an emphasis on sophisticated internal comms, is essential.
You'll have a background as an engaging communicator and be adept at developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders. You'll be adept at talking with people and be able to write engaging stories, edit and share short videos across social media, and have the ability to coach colleagues on the best ways to get their message across. You'll also have strong technical capabilities and have experience in managing communications across different intranets.
We are also in the process of transitioning to the MS Teams platform, so if you are a 'proclaimed expert' in Teams that would be advantageous.
