What you'll be doing: Te whakamahere
As the principal advisor to the General Manager Digital and Data, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing the entire Digital and Data work programme, through providing strategic insights and ensuring that the programme of work is transparent, efficient, and are aligned with the organization's goals.
Your role will also be crucial in driving the success of digital and data initiatives - you will work closely with the Digital & Data Leadership team to ensure that projects are well-coordinated, effectively resourced and executed, training is delivered efficiently and that any areas of improvement are identified.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Digital Programme Oversight: maintain transparency of the total work programme to inform on prioritization, and report on progress.
- Digital Project Management & Delivery: lead impactful digital projects from inception to completion, collaborating with different stakeholder teams to ensure successful project integration and to deliver lasting results.
- Resource Management: Map resources, identify capacity constraints, and collaborate with Directors to develop future actions through the use of digital tools.
- Managing Centralized Business Planning and Reporting, ensuring team alignment, developing business cases, and tracking metrics and investments in digital programmes.
This role is ideal for those beginning their programme delivery journey or for Senior Digital Project Managers ready to advance their careers!
What you'll need to be successful: Ō Pūkenga
You will be experienced in leading and delivering digital or data projects, where you have helped drive innovation and efficiency, developed new methodologies and ways of working that help streamline operations. This would involve overseeing complex digital work programmes, reporting on progress and to organise future action planning. You will also have a strong background in understanding and have experience in working with different processes, systems, tools and technologies that aid the successful implementation of digital or data projects.
You will also have meticulous attention to detail and excellent stakeholder engagement skills and you will feel at ease collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of projects. You will be well versed in capacity planning and have experience in mapping out the resources required to ensure seamless project delivery, while identifying and resolving capacity constraints.
Proven experience in implementing successful projects through change management and training would be advantageous.
