Short-term or fixed-term external audit roles

Audit New Zealand carries out annual audits of public entities on behalf of the Auditor-General. We're looking for CA (or equivalent) qualified people with external financial audit experience who are committed to delivering the highest quality audit services to a range of clients.

Although most of our staff work full time or on a permanent part-time basis, we're also hiring CA- qualified people with external audit experience who wish to work for us on a more flexible basis. This could include short-term assignments (for example, four to six weeks) or fixed periods (for example, during term time only).

In these roles, you'll still get the variety and challenge of working with different entities, Audit Managers, Audit Directors, and other specialist staff. You'll also be able to take part in our professional development activities.
