The role

Our vision is 'building lives and communities by housing New Zealanders'. To help achieve this, we are looking to build our team and need a Change Management professional with a working knowledge of the PROSCI methodology and tools to join our team. In this role you will be working with our Auckland based Programme Team on programmes for our Asset Development Group.

As a Change and Engagement Specialist you will work within a skilled team of professionals. You will be an important member of the Change and Engagement team and will be responsible for working with project and programme teams as we move towards being a 'reliably high performing organisation'.

To be successful in this role you will be adept at influencing both managers and staff as you guide them through change. This includes having the courageous conversations that are needed whilst being the ultimate diplomat. This is a great opportunity to further build and refine your change management skills as we ensure our service delivery meets Housing New Zealand's' future needs.

What you'll need to bring:

  • Specialist skills, knowledge and experience of how people go through change and the change process within an organisation
  • A knowledge and experience using the PROSCI ADKAR© framework
  • Significant experience in a change management and engagement role in a complex environment
  • Qualified or recent experience with change management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Influencing skills that have proven to inspire individuals to adopt change with minimal resistance
  • A positive and progressive outlook
  • Current drivers licence
