The role

Our vision is 'Building lives and communities by housing New Zealanders.' To help us achieve this, we are currently recruiting for two Maintenance Administrators to provide support to the Regional Maintenance team and help ensure maintenance work is accurately and efficiently processed in our systems.

You will also work collaboratively with other Housing New Zealand teams to ensure that maintenance is delivered to agreed standards, and that customer satisfaction and other maintenance operational performance targets are achieved.

What you'll need to bring

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Proven experience working with high volume systems work, including processing of jobs, invoices and orders on our systems
  • Existing housing maintenance knowledge
  • Administrative support experience, gained in a busy team environment
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight time-frames
  • The ability to understand and apply processes and systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sound judgement, discretion and the ability to work under pressure with a minimum of supervision
  • Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite
