The role

Our vision is 'Building lives and communities by housing New Zealanders'. To help us achieve this we are currently recruiting for a Senior Records Analyst to join our Auckland, Greenlane based team. In this role you will be accountable for maintaining and improving our information management processes and practices by identifying and leveraging opportunities to transform our information management to digital by default.

You will be responsible for contributing to the development of business capacity and ways of working to deliver knowledge, information and records management across the entire organisation. You will also be responsible for designing and delivering information management training to staff, and providing ongoing system support and maintenance. As this role has a national focus there will be periodic requirements for travel.

What you'll need to bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Good understanding of Information and Records Management Principles, both electronic and physical
  • Records Management EDRMS development and maintenance skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Sound working knowledge of Public Records Act 2005 and Archives NZ processes
  • Proven experience in coaching, inspiring and motivating to achieve successful outcomes and team cohesion
