Job Description

  • Full-time, fixed-term role (until June 2020)
  • Based in our Tauranga office
  • Annual salary of $56,375 plus five weeks' annual leave (pro rata)

The role

Our vision is 'building lives and communities by housing New Zealanders.' To help us achieve this, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant for the Regional Manager People and Property, based in our Tauranga office. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Regional Manager to achieve their objectives by managing their workflow and liaising with Managers, staff and external contacts on their behalf.

You will be dealing with Senior Managers from Housing New Zealand and other government agencies as well as Ministers and their staff, so it is essential you offer seasoned experience as a Personal Assistant in a similar role.

To be successful you will have relevant experience in managing complex administrative functions, including review and quality assurance of documents, document management and facilitation. You will also be highly organised and efficient with excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with the customer at the heart of what you do.

What you'll need to bring:

  • Experience working as a PA for a Senior Manager in a large organisation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional and calm approach under pressure
  • Proven ability to identify and manage key stakeholders
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approach and able to work with minimal supervision
