On 1 October 2019, Housing New Zealand Corporation becomes part of Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities.

About Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities, brings together the three existing agencies of Housing New Zealand, HLC (Hobsonville Lane Company) and KiwiBuild to form a new organisation.

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is central to the Government's aspirations for housing and urban development. It will work across the housing spectrum to build thriving communities where everyone has a place to call home.
