Job Description

The Strategic Partnerships and Performance function with ACC's Provider Service Delivery team is responsible for building strong relationships with our health providers and improving their performance to ensure better outcomes for our clients.

We have a great opportunity for an energetic person to join the team in a key leadership role managing our Engagement and Performance Managers who are the central point of contact between ACC and health providers within geographical areas. This Engagement and Performance Team Manager role manages up to 10 direct reports covering the South Island and the lower/central North Island.

Along with the Engagement and Performance Manager covering the Northern area, you and your team will be responsible for the following:

  • Delivering ACC's relationship management model for a large and complex provider base
  • Managing individual provider performance against KPIs
  • Managing provider outlier management
  • Managing communication and education with providers

Your skills and experience in contract and performance management, and working knowledge of the health sector will ensure your success in this role. Your professional approach, sound judgement, and interpersonal skills will be invaluable to us, whether they're used to establish and maintain relationships or to monitor and manage provider performance.

A relevant tertiary qualification in health or a related discipline is desirable also qualifications/experience in contract management, procurement and health related business management an advantage.
