Ko tā mātou mahi - Our role

The Quality Homes Advisory team is a technical team responsible for setting out the performance requirements for the design, products, components and systems that are to be used in our homes. A major challenge for the team is to develop performance requirements that allow us to be able to deliver cost effective and affordable housing solutions that minimise the whole-of-life operating and maintenance costs ensuring that our homes are safe, healthy, fit for purpose and sustainable for our customers.

Reporting to the Manager Quality Home Advisory team, we are looking for an experienced Advisor to fill the role of Quality Home Advisor. Using a consultative and collaborative approach, you will have outstanding abilities to build strategic and technical relationships across the Corporation, with key external partners and stakeholders. You will be an experienced and innovative thinker in the area of housing design with superior technical skills. An understanding of the construction industry and relevant legislative environment will ensure the delivery of best practice and fit for purpose performance requirements are delivered within a shared services model.
