Ko tā mātou mahi - Our role

The Project Manager is a dedicated resource focused on delivering planned volume programmes that reside under the individual regional work streams. Working in a matrix type structure, where the accountability for the planned work programme resides with the respective delivery Programme Manager.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, ideally in construction
  • Project Management qualification, preferably Prince 2
  • Sound experience managing projects with the ability to prepare comprehensive and robust project plans which identify project risks and mitigation strategies
  • Experience with the delivery of high volume work activities
  • Demonstrated experience working in the property or construction industry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in plan language
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in managing property maintenance or minor capital upgrades
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships through consultation and partnership.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management and negotiation
  • Computer literate in MS suite of products, particularly Word, Excel, Visio and MS Project
