Ko tā mātou mahi - Our role

As Senior Stakeholder Relationship Manager you will work in the Partnerships and Community Engagement Group, designing and delivering professional engagement practices with communities and stakeholders, and building and managing exceptional strategic partnerships on behalf of the organisation. As a senior member of the team, you will additionally take on some support and mentoring of others in the Group and across the organisation.

You will need to have great interpersonal and communication skills, and be passionate about achieving positive results for Kāinga Ora. You'll also need to be able to utilise your political and strategic nous in helping the organisation to connect and collaborate well with strategic partners.

  • Extensive relevant community engagement experience at a senior level
  • The capability to create and maintain exceptional relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
  • A sound understanding of the machinery of Government
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Strategic thinking and a growth mindset

A sound understanding of Te Ao Māori is essential for this role, fluency in Te Reo Māori is advantageous.
