Remuneration range: $46,366.00 - $62,689.00

The New Zealand Police is seeking a skilled and motivated leader to manage an experienced and diverse typing team. This opportunity is a 12 month development opportunity and based in Palmerston North within the Central District Headquarters Case Management Group. Central District Headquarters is a vibrant, social and exciting place to work and this opportunity will enable the successful applicant to interact with a wide variety of Central District Staff.


The successful applicant must be able to develop and maintain key relationships with both external service delivery partners and key stakeholders at all levels within the Central District Police. Whilst this position may require the successful applicant to work some shift work, the position will be predominately day shifts, Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will be working with motivated and experienced team of typists who work a 7 day roster.

Special Requirements

Demonstrates typing proficiency at a level of 90 words minute.
