We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our Family Harm Team within the Auckland City District Police. 


The Family Harm Team is passionate in making a real difference in this area and are looking for someone equally as enthusiastic to work alongside us to help us deliver the best results.

Within this role you will be required to communicate confidently across all levels of the business and with a diverse range of people.  You will be required to provide operational support to the Family Harm Team, coordinate meetings, record outcomes and tasks, complete administrative tasks and data input.  This is a diverse role within a rapidly developing environment aiming to better support victims of family harm.

Skill – you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate sound ability in using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate a high degree of computer literacy is essential
  • Demonstrate an ability to build partnerships, particularly with Iwi and agencies
  • Demonstrate an ability to adapt communication style to the individual and situation
  • Manage competing demands and high workloads
  • Demonstrate experience using Police systems would be an advantage but not essential.


Experience – you will have:

  • Recent experience in data entry
  • Recent and extensive experience in administrative support
  • A sound knowledge and experience in meeting coordination and recording
