The opportunity:

The Business Partner is based within the Information Technology and Architecture (IT&A) team and is responsible for being a trusted business advisor in their area of capability. This role really is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced professional, who can act as a business leader with a strong sense of purpose and dynamic vision for IT&A and the wider organisation.

We are looking for an energetic, motivational business leader who understands business objectives and issues, together with significant experience building and leading enduring partnerships and relationships across all business levels. As a trusted advisor you will be able to use insights to challenge and shape executive thinking around the risks and benefits of decisions or planned strategy. As a champion for the customer, and as an escalation point for the resolution of customer and stakeholder concerns, you will have the opportunity to utilise those exceptional organisational and relationship building skills to gain strong stakeholder confidence.

What we're looking for:

  • Significant experience developing and leading stakeholder engagement strategies in order to meet key performance requirements
  • Experience in building and leading partnerships/relationships at a national level
  • Demonstrated experience driving improvements within a multi-faceted ICT environment
  • Business acumen, especially in identifying key business initiatives and ensuring these are appropriately managed
  • Proven ability to identify and successfully manage risks and issues which may negatively impact on IT&A reputation
