About the role
We are looking for the newest members of our Police recruiting family to join our Auckland NZ Police recruitment team.
You will be experienced in recruitment and HR coordination. Our team work in a fast paced and high volume environment, where attention to the smallest detail, observation and adherence to the process is paramount. As a Recruitment Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for our applicants, and as such you will be able to build rapport, communicate our standards and process, and problem solve any initial questions an applicant has.
This is a highly varied position - you'll spend some time with Police in district 'getting to know the business' initially and in an ongoing capacity, so you will be required be able to articulate and present yourself well, to a highly varied group of sworn and non-sworn stakeholders. You will have the skills to initiate phone conversations, screen and vet police applicants, support with assessment days, and keep our records up to date.
You will utilise a range of technologies to manage key phases of the recruitment process and deliver high-quality outcomes. A high grade of computer literacy is essential. You will jump between screens, and databases, and be able to pull data and have sound all-round administrative skills.
