The Workplace Safety and Levy team is responsible for the development and implementation of ACC's products that collect levy from three million customers (businesses, vehicle owners and workers) across the nation.

About the role:

As the Levy Programme Manager you will be responsible for leading ACC's levy development programme across the organisation to achieve the organisational strategic objectives around trust and confidence as well as relevant injury prevention outcomes.

We'll call on your expertise of programme and consultation management to ensure the success of our levy programmes. You'll convert strategic thinking into reality and be responsible for the successful delivery of levy programmes and increasing engagement of levy payers.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Develop and implement three-year levy programmes to deliver the strategic priorities set by the organisation
  • Manage the levy payer strategic engagement to increase trust and confidence in how ACC sets levies and the value provided to customers through our levies
  • Identify and implement opportunities to use ACC levies to support injury prevention outcomes
  • Manage the levy/incentive product development pipeline
  • Oversee and coordinate the response the organisation makes to levy payer feedback that will help inform continuous improvement
  • Lead the engagement with MBIE over levy consultation and planned levy/product development
  • Manage the bi-annual and out of cycle levy consultation processes to ensure we are engaging with the right people at the right time

What we are looking for:

You will need to bring strong influencing, leadership, negotiation and relationship management skills, preferably from working within large and complex environments to truly succeed here. Your demonstrated programme and consultant management experience is crucial. But most of all, you'll be driven by challenges and have a passion for excellence!
