The Workplace Safety and Levy team uses human centred design and agile implementation processes to design and implement products and services that enhance the experience our customers have with ACC and support continuous improvement across New Zealand's health and safety system.

About the role:

As the Design or Implementation Analyst you will be responsible for providing analysis, advice and information during the design and implementation phases of product and service development.

As a seasoned business analyst you will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to clarify opportunities, extrapolate ideas and analyse and assess requirements to progress development activity.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Data and information analysis to create insights to the team, organisation, business customers, delivery partners and stakeholders
  • Understand, map and document high level processes to support implementation and delivery teams
  • Develop user requirements
  • Support the development of specific business cases using appropriate tools
  • Monitor trends in claims and costs to support opportunity identification and performance mentoring
  • Develop performance measures to support business cases, benefit realisation plans and to inform service level agreements for delivery partners
  • Negotiate appropriate outcomes with the customer
  • Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and business process and system 'owners'
  • Determine and document cultural and organisational issues that must be addressed to implement opportunities for process implementation or change.
  • Undertake and accurately document financial analysis of costs and benefits of implementing new or changed processes.

What we are looking for:

You will have knowledge and experience in Business Analysis in agile environments. Your sound understanding of business systems analysis, design, process modelling and business case development will set you on the right path.

You will need to bring strong influencing and relationship management skills, preferably from working within large and complex environments to truly succeed here. But most of all, you'll be driven by challenges and have a passion for excellence!
