The Workplace Safety and Levy team uses human centred design and agile implementation processes to design and implement products and services that enhance the experience our business customers have with ACC and support continuous improvement across New Zealand's health and safety system.

About the role:

As the Implementation Lead, Levy and Workplace Safety you will be responsible for leading the implementation of behaviour change programmes (injury prevention or economic incentives) that will result in a reduction in severe injuries, fatalities and work-related health issues across New Zealand.

We'll call on your expertise of change behaviour where you'll convert strategic thinking into reality to help us deliver tailored solutions to reduce injuries.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Management of a virtual implementation team that has the necessary skills to implement the product/ service and meet the required objectives
  • Apply agile/ lean methodologies to achieve continuous improvement of product/service design while delivery occurs
  • Manage business case development to fund the implementation and delivery of products and services
  • Develop and manage contracts with our delivery partners
  • Contribute to the development of monitoring and evaluation approaches to allow progress and performance in the delivery phase to be understood
  • Ensure product/service implementation is achieved within agreed budget and timeframes
  • Manage relationship with delivery partners to ensure a cooperative and collaborative approach to implementation is achieved
  • Oversee and manage the launch of the product/ service including any promotional activity to ensure awareness and understanding is achieved

What we are looking for:

You will have knowledge and experience incentivising behavioural change within large and complex organisations. Demonstrated experience of product/ service design/ implementation and strong programme management skills are necessary to ensure we have a great impact reducing workplace injuries.

You will need to bring strong influencing, leadership, negotiation and relationship management skills, preferably from working within large and complex environments to truly succeed here. Your demonstrated programme and consultant management experience is crucial. But most of all, you'll be driven by challenges and have a passion for excellence!
