Job Description

  • Flexible location can be based in either Hamilton or Dunedin

Are you hardworking, dedicated and looking for a bigger challenge? By being part of our claims process you'll get just that by directly helping people throughout New Zealand. But it also means you're helping yourself to a rewarding future full of variety. You'll be investigating complex claim information to accurately determine and facilitate the funding of Dental entitlements. By researching cases and reviewing information you'll determine a client's eligibility and calculate entitlements in accordance with ACC legislation, regulations and policies.

Your well-developed numeric and organisational skills, not to mention high level of maturity and claim experience will prove invaluable. Whether it's managing complex claims and clients or liaising with service providers, we know you'll relish challenge. There's no 'black and white' when it comes to the claims process, so your excellent judgment, decision making and analytical skills, along with your ability to apply complex policy and legislation, will be huge assets here. The fact you're a strong communicator, a quick learner and a great time manager also bodes well for your success in this role. We think you'll be surprised at just how much we have waiting for you here. If you want to do something a little different that makes a huge difference, let's talk.

The Indicative starting salary for this role is $57,082. This is exclusive of ACC's 9% superannuation contribution which would bring the total starting package to $62,219.

This is a full time, 40 hour week position and you will be expected to work within the team to ensure that our clients are able to contact us within core business hours.
