Job Description

  • Join an organisation that's actively creating a legacy.
  • Get involved in complex and interesting projects.
  • Auckland CBD location.

The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) plays a critical role in regulating capital markets and financial services in New Zealand and providing better outcomes for investors, consumers, professionals, businesses, and for the New Zealand economy.

Within the Operations team, our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) offers a business-wide service managing change for the FMA and integrating this change into existing processes, whilst minimising its disruptive impact. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to provide exceptional support and coordination for this busy team.

In this position you will support the project managers, business analysts and project sponsors on specific projects. You'll work with project managers to track our projects, including developing and managing project plans, preparing progress and status reports, and updating and analysing project finances. You will also be responsible for arranging meetings by preparing agendas, printing and formatting presentation materials, taking minutes, following up on action points and booking any project related travel.

Key to your success will be your proven experience in project support roles and strong time management skills. You will have advanced MS office skills including MS Project, outstanding attention to detail and ideally a project management qualification.

In return, we'll offer you the chance to join a friendly, approachable team of highly experienced professionals and an organisation with a strong commitment to developing your career, while also maintaining a good life/work balance.
