Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
Service Desk Administrator
The Audit Office | Te Mana Arotake aims to improve trust and confidence in public services by giving New Zealanders an independent view of government spending and performance. As the statutory auditor of all public organisations, from councils to schools, the Auditor-General's work plays a major part in ensuring that our public sector remains one of the most trusted in the world.
We're looking for a front-facing Service Desk Administrator to be our link between the Office and the Service Desk team. This position is critical to our Office, and your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage issues, incidents, and queries will be essential for the role.
We need someone who:
- is passionate about customer service at all levels and can think outside the box when dealing with queries;
- has excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Office applications, with the desire and technical curiosity to learn more; and
- is friendly and personable and able to work well in a small and driven team.
Great administration skills and experience liaising with suppliers and vendors will also help. Ideally, you'll have helpdesk, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange experience. You'll be working on a roster, which includes after-hours on call.
