Business Advisor, (Finance Group)

Wellington

New Zealand Police

Permanent, Full-time

Remuneration range: $67,261.00 - $91,000.00

An opportunity exists for a Business Advisor to provide business partnering support to Police National Headquarters support functions.  This role is based in Wellington. 

 

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to providing top-class customer service
  • Self-starter with a 'can do' attitude and a strong improvement focus
  • Experience in interpreting a range of financial and operational data to identify trends and issues and provide considered, tailored, and trusted advice.
  • Experience in preparing forecasts and budgets, and working with budget holders to implement agreed realistic financial/performance targets
  • Experience in identifying and helping to mitigate business risks to support the financial integrity of the accounting systems and performance reporting.

Special Requirement

A tertiary degree level qualification in accountancy, finance or related discipline
