Permanent, Full-time

Remuneration range: $43,600.00 - $57,965.00

We are looking for the newest member of our Police recruiting family to join our established Tāmaki Makarau NZ Police recruitment team.

As a Recruitment Coordinator you will join our team based currently in Otahuhu.  We do intend to move to Greenlane later this year - so your ability to travel to this location is required.

This is a rare to market opportunity in Tāmaki Makarau for an individual who is passionate about changing the face of the NZ Police, to join a highly successful brand, and an established, supportive (and really fun) team.

You will have seen 'the best recruitment video in the world' - now work in the team delivering New Cops across Tāmaki Makarau.

 

Skills & Experience:

You will had had experience in recruitment, HR co-ordination or administration, and may come from an education, social services or recruitment agency background.  Our team work in a fast paced and high volume environment, where attention to the smallest detail, and observation and adherence to process is paramount. As a Recruitment Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for our applicants, and as such you will be able to build rapport, communicate our standards and process, and problem solve any initial questions an applicant has.

This is a highly varied position - you'll spend some time with Police in district 'getting to know the business' initially and in an ongoing capacity, so you will be required be able to articulate and present yourself well,  to a highly varied group of sworn and non- sworn stakeholders.  You will have the skills to initiate phone conversations, screen and vet police applicants, support with assessment days, and keep our records up to date.

You will utilise with a range of technologies to manage key phases of the recruitment process and deliver high-quality outcomes.  A high grade of computer literacy is essential.  You will jump between screens, and databases, and be able to pull data and have sound all round administrative skills.

Whilst Te Reo is not perquisite to application, a broad cultural competency is.  The capacity to bring your own cultural background, language or life skills will be highly valued and supported.
