Operations Manager Application Support (MyPolice Delivery)

New Zealand Police

ICT Service Centre, Lower Hutt

12 months Fixed Term, Full-time

Remuneration range: $119,085.00 - $161,115.00

The NZ Police Information and Communications Technology Service Centre are seeking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to the Technology Operations group, based at the Lower Hutt Police Station.

This role is responsible for assisting the support of MyPolice application support and focusing on delivery of patching, bug fixes and enhancements of the MyPolice application suite including SAP, SuccessFactors and Kronos. You will be expected to bridge the gap between project delivery and operations by working effectively with all stakeholders.

 

Skills & Experience

This is a dynamic and challenging position, and the successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience & knowledge:

  • Experience delivering within a technical and agile service oriented business is essential;
  • Extensive experience in Service Delivery in a large organisation;
  • Sound knowledge of SAP systems (but not essential).

Demonstrate the following SFIA 6 Framework skills:

  • ITMG (IT Management) Level 5;
  • GOVN (IT Governance) Level 5;
  • RLMT (Relationship Management) Level 4;
  • SEAC (Service Acceptance) Level 5; &
  • PEMT (Performance Management) Level 5.

Special Requirements

  • To apply for this role you must be a NZ citizen or permanent resident
  • A Tertiary qualification in IT or engineering or equivalent experience.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo a full reference and security check prior to any offer of employment.
