Wanted: Intranet editor who's keen to work on information that matters 

New Zealand Police Communications Centres are the first point of contact for people who need assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations and deploy front line police staff to help our communities be safe and feel safe. 

We need an Intranet Editor who can ensure that our information database and standard operating procedures are kept up to date and fit for purpose.

If this sounds like you, we'd like you to join our team.  You'll work closely with a wide range of people so you'll need to be someone who quickly builds great relationships, always delivers the goods, and can be trusted.


Skills & Experience

Our intranet carries contact and procedural information that enables a fast and effective response to incidents, so we are looking for an ideal candidate who will have experience:

  • building and maintaining content using WebSphere and SharePoint systems;
  • that demonstrates proficiency in HTML and CCS;
  • putting users' needs at the forefront of everything you do;
  • writing for the web and coaching others to do the same;
  • turning quality content around within tight production deadlines;
  • managing projects from early inception through to completion.

It would be useful if you had experience in graphic design in an online environment and Drupal.

Special Requirements
