The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has established itself as an agency with a critical role in regulating financial services and capital markets in New Zealand and providing better outcomes for investors, consumers, professionals, businesses, and for the New Zealand economy.

We're looking for a proactive and motivated administrator to provide support to our People and Capability team and our Chief Executive's team based in our fantastic Auckland office. This is a varied role that will enable you to utilise the full range of your administration skills and experience, whilst growing and developing in your career.

Reporting to our Chief Executive's assistant, you will be integral to the day-to-day effectiveness of these two high performing teams and the FMA Board by providing top-quality administrative support. This will include diary management, booking travel, setting up interviews, organising meetings and assisting with the preparation of monthly Board papers. You'll also operate alongside other team support administrators as a 'virtual team', supporting each other in the provision of administration services across FMA and sharing ideas and information.

Key to your success will be your proven experience as a team secretary or administrator gained in a corporate or professional services environment. You'll be confident in producing high level documents and be adept at picking up new tasks quickly. Strong computer literacy, well developed self-management and interpersonal skills will allow you to meet changing requirements as they arise, and manage competing priorities with ease.
