An opportunity exists for a Senior Business Manager to provide business partnering support to a portfolio of groups.  This role is based at Police National Headquarters, Wellington.


Skills and Experience To be considered for this role you will have:

• Proven experience in providing support to a range of customers through strategic partnerships in a large and complex organisation.

• Demonstrated ability in providing insight into decision making, forward planning and risk management, together with the ability to assess and challenge business cases.

• Proven experience in providing financial information, analysis and advice that enables customers to understand risk and the implications of change.

• The ability to articulate the connections between group and organisational objectives and between various group's work programmes in order to better support customers.

• The ability to consider complex information and long term implications when making decisions or providing advice.

• Proven experience in looking for opportunities to add value and drive positive change.

• Proven experience in working constructively in a team and managing staff to deliver excellent results and exceptional customer service.

• Professional accreditation.
