Job Description

Experienced Case Manager to join us as a key member in the Workplace Health and Safety Team.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Case Manager to join us as a key member in the Workplace Health and Safety Team for a 6 -12 month fixed term, here in Lower Hutt. 

Hutt Valley District Health Board are a part of the ACC Partnership Programme and as such we manage our own work injuries. By providing exceptional rehabilitation services we minimise the incidence and impact of injury within our workforce.  

 The Case Manager role is responsible from notification of an injury for completing an accurate assessment of entitlements, support planning and implementation of rehabilitation and ensuring a safe and sustainable return to work. 


  • Ability to interpret, apply and explain legislation
  • Exceptional time management ability
  • Strong decision making, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with clients and their support networks, stakeholders including our Third Party Administrator, Unions and the provider network
