Permanent, Full-time

Remuneration range: $62,925.00 - $85,139.00

The New Zealand Police have a position available for a Workforce Management Analyst based in Wellington DHQ. The purpose of this role is to provide the Wellington Policing District accurate workforce forecasting, planning and reporting; to develop and manage rosters to the best support Our Business.

 This position is responsible for providing efficient and effective support and guidance to the Workforce Management Team to enable operational deployment. The Workforce Analyst provides information, recommendations and expert advice to the management team on which to base future staffing and deployment needs.

We are seeking someone who can fit seamlessly into our friendly and effective workgroup. Ideally you would be a self-motivated individual, who has attention to detail, and enjoys problem solving.


Skills – you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate your ability to work in a high paced environment and manage competing demands
  • Demonstrate your ability to manage rostering systems in a changeable environment
  • If applicable, demonstrate your working knowledge of Kronos and SAP applications


Experience – you will have:

  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience using Excel to develop a high standard of reports


Special Requirements

  • To apply for this role you must be a NZ citizen or permanent resident
  • A working knowledge of KRONOS and SAP computer systems would be an advantage
