The New Zealand Police have a position available for a Workforce Management Analyst based in Christchurch. The purpose of this role is to provide the Canterbury Policing District accurate workforce forecasting, planning and reporting; to develop and manage rosters to best support Our Business.

This position is responsible for providing efficient and effective support and guidance to the Workforce Management Team to enable operational deployment opportunities. They provide information, recommendations and expert advice to the management team on which to base future staffing and budgetary needs. In the role you will manage leave requests and system related processes which ensure leave is managed in line with forecasted requirements, established business rules, employment agreements, HR Policy and legislation.

We are seeking someone who can fit seamlessly into our workgroup. Ideally you would be a self-motivated individual, who has attention to detail, and enjoys problem solving. Ultimately we are looking for someone who works with other team members to achieve optimum resource use and best results for the organisation as a whole.

  • Work effectively under tight deadlines.

 

Experience:

  • Experience working in a team environment
  • A working knowledge of SAP and KRONOS is preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to develop a high standard of reports/presentations.

Special Requirements:
