Our radiology service at Counties Manukau is growing, with a brand new purpose built facility under construction at Manukau Health Park and another earmarked for Middlemore Hospital within the next few years. We focus on great patient care and developing excellence and innovation in a supportive work environment. Our modalities include MRI, CT, ultrasound, plain film (x-ray), mammography, fluoroscopy and interventional radiology.

We are seeking an exceptional leader who can thrive in a complex and challenging environment, supporting and enabling the service to sustain excellent outcomes and contribute positively to northern region and national initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager, Central Clinical Services you will work in partnership with Clinical Heads and Clinical Directors, clinical colleagues and a range of external stakeholders. Your role will lead and facilitate service delivery, ensure effective operational leadership and provide the highest quality radiology services. Key to this role is your ability to provide a strategic view, adapt within a challenging and changing environment with resilience and enable your team to thrive. Exceptional communication skills and a history of fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will be fundamental to successful outcomes.

It will be essential for you to have experience in a radiology environment along with a proven ability to effectively manage resources and contracts and build successful working relationships with a range of people.
