Mō te Tūranga - About the role
Crown Law is entering the implementation stage of a project to replace its current legal practice and finance enterprise system, with a suite of Microsoft Dynamics cloud-based products. These systems will provide legal practice (time recording, matter management, billing), transactional finance, budgeting and reporting functionality.
The Senior Systems Accountant will act as an interface between the Finance team and the business, the role will be a mixture of project and BAU work, including supporting the current system.
You will also work closely with the Legal Systems Administrator, who will be your equivalent in supporting the legal system users, ensuring the systems are supporting the business and helping Crown Law to achieve our strategic outcomes.
You will be someone who understands finance and finance systems and will assist the Finance team to improve their processes, implement their policies and work effectively across the business.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who:
- has great relationship and stakeholder management skills
- has the ability to plan effectively
- can shift between the big picture and maintaining good attention to detail
- has in-depth technical knowledge of finance systems
- has the knowledge and experience of financial management in the NZ public sector (not required but is desirable).
