If you enjoy planning, coordinating and delivering a variety of clinical capital replacement projects, in a complex environment with a diverse group of stakeholders, then this role may just be for you!
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of a number of concurrent clinical capital projects, processes and activities, as part of CM Health's Clinical Capital Program, with the guidance and support of the Clinical Engineering Capital Programme and Projects Manager. You will use your project management skills and clinical equipment knowledge to deliver concurrent clinical capital projects (mainly clinical equipment replacement projects) from inception to conclusion. You will use your critical thinking skills and draw upon health industry experience to facilitate discussions and decision making processes involving various multidisciplinary teams including leading clinician and manager stakeholders. The goal is to deliver and implement the best fit-for-purpose solution whilst remaining within budget and adhering to CM Health policies and medical device legislative requirements.
You will need to use your initiative and problem solving skills to develop innovative approaches to deliver your projects on time and within budget. You will be regularly challenged by a wide range of conflicting requirements, so your pragmatic problem solving, negotiation skills and being self-motivated will come in handy. There will be a requirement to be able to prioritise your workload and negotiate time frames with the Clinical Engineering Capital Programme and Projects Manager and other stakeholders, while still providing a quality and timely customer service. The role will from time to time have demanding deadlines and a requirement to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality information.
Relevant degree or post graduate qualification (medical sciences and/or engineering) or other.
5-years related experience delivering clinical capital projects and /or clinical equipment procurement.
Previous Project Management experience
Good understanding of medical device life-cycle management
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A self-starter that thrives on completing projects on time
Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment
Analytical and ability to interpret and manage large amounts of data and information.
