We currently have a Relieving Secretary position available in our service. In this position you will be responsible for providing relieving secretarial support to the Clinical Head and Senior Medical Staff in any service within the organisation and transcribing dictation from other services as allocated by the Clinical Transcription Service Team Leaders.

We are looking for will be a team player, have a clear understanding about the importance of producing accurate work, can cope with the pressure of needing to stick to strict deadlines. We are also looking for someone who is flexible and has a bright personality. 

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday and based at Middlemore Hospital.

Essential

  • Excellent dictaphone typing skills
  • Excellent command of the English Language
  • Willingness to work as part of a team
  • Good time management and interpersonal skills 

Desired

  • Previous medical transcription experience

The salary band is between for this role is between $64,903 to $67,787, dependent on skills and experience.
