The Department of Corrections is a large and complex organisation and employs highly motivated and focused individuals committed to our goal of reducing re-offending.

Our Major Contracts Procurement Team is part of our Commercials Services group and is seeking an experienced Administrator with a positive, can do attitude. This position presents a great opportunity to be part of something exciting and fast paced.

Your role will be to ensure good administrative practices are in place across the Chief Procurement Team and taking ownership for records management and supporting change control and systems across all documentation. You will also provide effective secretariat services to the Team and related governance / advisory entities.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Organise, prioritise and manage your own workload
  • Work at pace whilst retaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage a range of relationships with your strong interpersonal skills
  • Work with different software, including having intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Be flexible and resourceful

This role will be busy with lots of variety, therefore your ability to multitask is imperative. You'll be a strong team player who is happy to pick up a range of tasks and brings a can do attitude. In return you will relish working in a dynamic environment, in a busy and challenging role where every day is different.
