New residential facility in Upper Hutt


We have exciting new opportunities available for Assistant Residential Supervisor roles at Te Korowai, a new residential facility for community based offenders located at Rimutaka Prison.


Te Korowai will house up to 11 community based offenders, including offenders subject to an Extended Supervision Order.


Reporting to a Lead Service Manager, and working closely with a Probation Officer, your key tasks will be

  • to work cooperatively with the residents to ensure the orderly functioning of the facility
  • to manage the day–to-day monitoring and activities of the residents
  • to ensure the safety and welfare of residents, staff and visitors is maintained, and make sure that the rules of the residence are followed
  • You may also need to assist residents by dropping them off within the community so you will need to hold a full drivers licence.

The roles are shift based however there may be flexibility with regards to shift patterns availability
