This is a Tier 3 leadership role and plays a significant part in working with the leadership team to establish organisational and Intelligence Directorate strategy and business plans.

As an experienced leader, you will draw upon your solid experience building and maintaining highly performing teams, and will have:

  • The ability to contribute to organisational strategy, policy and capability projects
  • Strong customer focus and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with domestic and international stakeholders
  • Sound judgement and critical thinking ability

Key to your success in this role will be your high energy, drive and motivation to deliver timely results. While this is an established team, there's definite scope for development and enhancement.

We work in a unique environment where no two days are the same. Our team is dedicated, motivated and passionate about what we do. We offer a range of benefits including professional development opportunities, an active social club and on-site gym and fitness facilities.

If this fixed-term leadership role sounds like you and you're looking for work with a purpose at the heart of New Zealand's national security, we would like to hear from you.
